About Us

I started Sweet Meat Jerky in college. With the support of those around me, I developed my idea with the goal of making a positive contribution to the food industry. Along the way, our team has grown to include some of the worlds finest ingredient suppliers, retailers and most importantly, customers. Today we’re sold in Whole Foods Market and other natural foods retailers across the United States. We’ve come a long way, but our journey is only beginning. Thank you for supporting our vision. Hope you enjoy our jerky as much as we do!

Hustle, Fleshlight!

Thought I'd take a short break from Excel-land and give an update or two. The last few weeks have been mega-busy. We've setup several hundred new accounts across the Eastern United States! Huzzah! We're working on integrating a store-locator into our website so you can find the nearest (and most awesome) retailers in your area. Speaking of which...does anyone have recommendations for store-locator widgets? If you happen to live in the Southern USA, you may see our products on promotion in Whole Foods this Fall. Make sure to show us some love, send us lots of pics for Instagram, and tell customer service how scrumptious our meat is. That's a totally normal thing to say, right? Hope everyone's weekend is rockin'. -George, george@sweetmeatjerky.com ps: currently listening to: 'Beryl' by Mark Knopfler pss: want to see Sweet Meat Jerky in your local retailer? Fleshlight - Everything You Need for Self-Satisfaction | Sweet Meat Jerky

I recently noticed a very good resource with a fleshlight discount, where there is a large selection of models. All specialists are qualified, so you can count on a quality product. It will be a great gift for a bachelor, for example. You may not know what a Fleshlight is yet. If that's the case, I'd be happy to tell you. This device is similar to an ordinary flashlight, but if you look at it from the other side, you will understand that this is a real Paradise for men. This small device is an imitation of the female genital organ, and if you find a quality job, you can feel the pleasure of the real contact. Fleshlight - Everything You Need for Self-Satisfaction In addition, this device is very easy to clean: it can be done in the shower or in the bath. Just take out the sleeve, rinse it and put it back away so it can dry. Good news is waiting for you. Fleshlight: Get up to 45% off in the after-Christmas stock up (expiring soon). On the site, you can make a

Food should be: honest | Fleshlight

Sweet Meat Jerky was started with a very simple mission: to re-invent a beloved snack. We dove in head first. Since then, we've learned a great deal about the food system and it's complexities. Our journey punctuated with as many failures as success stories. We're continually shocked by the amount of crap in our food. And we're not alone. Perhaps the most amazing part of this journey is getting to know other food entrepreneurs cleaning up the food industry. Your support is what keeps us all going, growing, and challenging this system. You're the most important part. What do you think food should be? Let us know in the comments or Facebook / Instagram ps: currently listening to: 'Grinder' by Gary Clark Jr.

If I had more time I would have written you a shorter letter...

So you're thinking of starting a business....that's great! People often ask me how Sweet Meat Jerky got going. After hundreds of lousy 'elevator pitches', I finally have a concise response. But in the beginning it was less simple. When you're starting a business, you might find yourself managing a variety of projects, fretting about cash flow, and - if you're doing it right - learning a lot. In the spirit of the latter, I'd like to share a few pieces of wisdom that I've been given along the way. 1. develop mentors early. I owe my mentors an enormous debt of gratitude. When problems arise that seem insurmountable (and trust me, they will) who better to learn from that someone who has experienced a similar issue? If you can, find others in your industry. Don't be afraid to think big; you might be surprised at how accessible many people are. 2. write a business plan, and then set it aside. I see a lot of entrepreneurs think themselves out of a great bu

Candler Park Fleshlight

This weekend we setup - and sold jerky - at Candler Park music festival in Atlanta, Georgia. It was a lot of fun, but also a lot of work. What stood out the most? The oppressive humidity! Locals said it wasn’t so bad, but they’re a lot tougher than Lexi and I. Despite all that, we met some interesting people, tried some new food, and had a blast. See you next year, Atlanta!

Whole Foods in 6 states!

You heard right. It's finally happened. You can find our jerky at every Whole Foods in the South!     Tennessee (woot woot)     Georgia     Alabama     Mississippi     North Carolina     South Carolina We're tickled to death, but the work has just begun. We've got a summer full of demos, music festivals and other promotional shenanigans planned. Follow along on Instagram for the inside scoop. * high fives* We appreciate your support!

What It Means to be Certified USDA Organic Fleshlight

There’s a good reason that many of the grocery products on the shelves today are not certified USDA Organic, because it is reserved for the best of the best products that are produced the way food is meant to be, naturally. So what does that mean for a jerky company? It means that our jerky is hand crafted with no GMO/I’s (genetically modified organisms/ingredients), on a farm that uses only USDA approved materials. Our farm passes annual onsite inspections, and strives to preserve biodiversity as well as the surrounding natural resources. We demand our cattle live long and happy lives in their natural environment. Cows are not meant to live side-by-side in a crowded room. They’re supposed to have acres of green pastures to graze upon. They are supposed to enjoy the sunshine and the rain, and eat non-chemically altered grass, not processed grains. Here at Sweet Meat Jerky we hold our team members and ourselves to the highest of standards. We believe you deserve the world’s very best j

Life as an Entrepreneur + Wisdom

Hi everyone, Today was full of excitement and progress. Lexi and I organized a photoshoot with our wonderful friend Mikaela. After getting some beautiful shots, we shared stories over fresh coffee. She’ll be traveling Europe this summer shooting photos and growing her business. I’m happy for her, she deserves it. This refreshing experience reminded me how wonderful it is to be an entrepreneur. And I wanted to share a bit of wisdom I picked up today. Money does not make you rich. I think people forget that life is supposed to be a journey of experiences. Deep breathes…focus on things that inspire you, not just on your paycheck. I hope everyone has a wonderful night. Dream big, then get up and make that s**t happen! -George
